Namunukula Kanda is located on the border of Badulla and Moneragala districts. It is the main mountain in the Badulla area. It has nine peaks. 2036 m. Namunukula is one of the fascinadoras mountains of Sri Lanka with its rich ecosystems. Badulu Oya, a tributary of the Mahaweli River, originates from this hill which is located close to the Badulla Passara Road.
