It is the tallest waterfall in the world.
Angel is a scenic waterfall located in the Canaima National Park in Bolivar, southeastern Venezuela. It is 3212 feet (979 m) long.
The waterfall drops over the edge of the Auyán-tepui mountain in the Canaima National Park UNESCO World Heritage site in the Gran Sabana region of Bolívar State.
The waterfall got its new name in 1953 when it was discovered by the American explorer James Angel. Due to the high altitude and the surrounding winds, the water becomes foggy when it reaches ground level.
